Sask gone crazy
$1:
MILDRED, Sask. (CP) - Two Saskatchewan RCMP officers are recovering in hospital from gunshot wounds they sustained when an assault suspect they were chasing fired on them.
Cpl. Keith Bott of the Spiritwood RCMP says the officers - one male and one female - are out of surgery in Saskatoon and the next 48 hours will determine how well they respond.
They were shot Friday night during a police pursuit on the country roads near Mildred, Sask.
Bott says the suspect, who fled on foot after being fired at by a third officer, has not yet been found.
The village of Mildred, about 140 kilometres east of Prince Albert, has been cordoned off and all vehicles entering or leaving the farming community are being checked by police.
Officers are looking for 41-year-old Curtis Alfred Dagenais of Spiritwood, who is described as a white male with brown hair and green eyes.

Damn white man, shooting at more white men. What's Saskatchewan coming to? Which hospital was it? The University one or the other one (damned if I can name it at this point)
