$1:
The annual $325 hike in tuition proposed by the government would result in an overall increase of $1,625 for Quebec students.

However, the tuition fees in the province will still be among the lowest in Canada even after the hikes.

Any reason to protest.

Whatever. Quebec students taking to the streets to bitch about the lack of government handouts. Shocking stuff.

I'm going to take it as a sign of my severe normalcy that, whenever I see overpriviliged white kids wearing Palestinian sympathy scarves and marching under red banners while they complain about how bad they've got it in life, I want to start throwing rocks at them.

It's taxpayers who will continue to assume most of the bill, he argued, while the share students pay will be only 17 per cent of the total cost of their training

Say what?

No, the only folks that the government pays to go to university are the cons in Kingston getting Queen's degrees on the dole.

Edit: and, oh yeah, that's post number 6666 so fuck the lot of you:

Bart's comments about a sense of entitlement would actually fit in this story.

But guys, when has anyone not been pissed about government increasing their fees? The fact is the more you protest these things, the less likely they may be to occur again in the future. If you make it too easy for them to increase fees without opposition, theyll be more likely to be acking them up all the time, no?
