Alright, you have to trust me here. I swear to God I am not someone who likes to spam here and take my time to actually change my IP adress just to annoy some of you. Well I am not spamming I am just listening to your opinions. That is all

You're quite familiar with how one would go about being so heinous...

ROCKaMIC @ Tue Aug 16, 2005 5:39 pm

My family is French Canadian, but immigrated here to the United States because of opression of the Canadian government. Its too simple.

As a former citizen of Quebec I am strongly saddened by my country's occupation and demand the Canadian government to either grant more provincial powers to us or give us full independence. You brainwashed our people, we tried to escaped socialism from France and we come here and our children are brainwashed by it! I am glad to live in the USA, we have more freedoms and more power towards the government. We do not have leftist liberals holding every office hostage! DOWN WITH CANADA!!!

Socialism never existed in France, ever.

And do you know how the leftist-liberals got control? They were chosen by the people!

Why should Quebec be treated any differently from any other province?

Samaca @ Tue Aug 16, 2005 6:30 pm

The majority voted for the liberals while a large percentage is conservative and you give them no speak in the government at all. In America we give EVERYONE a voice, just look at the bottom 1% of Atheist who made such a change in our nation!

Odd... If the quebecois tried the same thing in the states they'd be laughed at.

The thing is, Canada tends to have a greater view for group rights, where as america couldn't care less about the group and only looks at individual rights.

Oh yeah. You can speak in the government. As long as your a Repub or a Dem. If your not they just laugh at you.

The minority actually voted for the Liebrals and in Canada, special interest groups set the agenda, Supreme Court blesses it and the Liebrals legislate it and the majority who disagrees, pays for it.

What a troll that Sama...

I think he's just trying to stir up a debate here but his has no substance.

Y'a plein de ces débiles dans tous les forums qui cherchent le trouble.

Son discours n'est pas très clair cependant. Il parle de son pays, est-ce qu'il veut dire Québec ou Canada???

Rien d'sérieux, j'imagine

If majoriity means three guys raising cattle in Alberta (wherever that is), then yes you're right the majority disagrees.

And if by minority you mean Ontario and Quebec........then yes the minority makes the decisions around here....

And if by setting the agenda you mean reading the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms....then yes the Supreme Court does its job and interpretes the Charter.....

What the hell are you talking about 'we tried to escape socialism...'? You were brainwashed, no doubt, you are still being brainwashed. The thing you don't see ('cause you are brainwashed) is that it is you own french speaking, quebecois, poutine eating, open all my presents on Christmas eve, poloticians that are doing it. Country my ass. The first time the English kicked your asses (lunenburg N.S.) We let you keep your french language and even went so far as to kick all the Acadians out of N.S. But rather then go to Qc. they went to New Orleans. The second time the English kicked your asses (Plains of Abraham) we even went so far as to offer generous bonuses for having children. So the way I see it Quebec is a conquest of war that was surrendered when the English defeated the French in Quebec City. They forget to teach you that (I have taken what passes for canadian history in Quebec). They also forget to tell you that most of the industry in Quebec is owned by English interests, in addition to this they neglect to point out that Canada and the US will NEVER surrender control of the St. Lawrence. We don't have to, the French surrendered UNCONDITIONALLY, but I guess it's silly to expect honor from people who brainwash their own.
