I just HAVE to write about my pet hate of people that chew gum and despite plentful public bins and sewer drains decide to spit the gum out onto the path!

It is discusting and common! and these people have no consideration for other! everyone has experienced the getting chewing gum stuck on the sole of there shoe while out in the busy highstreet so surely the people that carry out this act realise how annoying it is! Obviously due to there sheer lack of intelligence they have not realised and continue to do it! I hate it and it cost the tax payer a awful lot of money to clear up which they dont often have so the once clean high street that looked welcoming to visiters is now covered with black marks of dirty chewing gum! GRRRR!

These people think this is a 'cool' thing to do but then these are the people that spit on the pavement on a busy high street another hate of mine! if only we could some how teach these LOSERS (to put it politly) a lesson or alternativly make sure that we do not allow teenagers who have this attitude to exsist as they are certainly not giving anything to society!

Just swallow it; it doesn't stick to your esophagus or stay in your stomach for years, despite what the kids at school told you.

You better steer clear of Alberta on your next voyage abroad then.

Gum in the urinal would be much worse for the person who has to clean them...I don't know what it is about pissing that maked people not want their gum anymore.

heh. My son actually asked me what that meant recently.

I play first base in a mixed league, and I find it disgusting when some guy runs to 1st and then hawks one up and spits on the ground... right where I have to stand to make a play.

well sports stars have started the tradition espicially in the UK! Footballers began it and unfortunetly it went to the high street
