Have not posted or endorsed any of these rich bitches getting into space because I am not enthusiastic about robber barons flaunting the wealth over the rest of us and saying it's a great advancement for mankind. Don't piss on me and tell me it's raining.

Did he really need to come back though? [huh]

I'm torn on this. We really need private business to be able to create the efficiencies to make a trip to the moon as common as a trip to Hawaii, and start colonizing other planets. But using the money they don't pay in taxes to fund an ego project isn't easy to swallow.

Yeah I hear ya o that. On one hand it’s good that there is increased effort to make space travel more accessible. But on the other bigger hand, there is so much more good that that money could do on Earth than funding these vanity projects.

$1:
“The people come to understand that wealth is not the fruit of labor but the result of organized, protected robbery. Rich people are no longer respectable people; they are nothing more than flesh eating animals, jackals and vultures which wallow in the people’s blood.”

I heard a sound bite from Bezos on the radio today, in which he thanked his employees and customers. He said that they "helped fund this dream" or something to that effect. It didn't sound sincere whatsoever, not that I'm surprised.

Nothing ghoulish at all about that line of thinking, bro. One of my major fantasies is gathering all of these types, the wealthy and the celebs alike, in one place and dropping a nuke on them. Not just that it would assuredly make the world a million times better in one shot but also because of the sheer beautiful justice spontaneously occurring.

The human race will crawl on all fours into eternity for as long as we're plagued by the hardwired need to worship the so-called "great man". :|

The wealthy got their money (or their daddy did, doesn't matter) by selling stuff, so blame the people that bought what they are selling. The celebs got their money by selling whatever it is they are selling, so blame the people that bought whatever it is they are selling.

And then we fully democratize the entire world economy, from top to bottom, to ensure that men like that can never ever exist again. Oh, my, what will the poor tyrants who did it all WITH THEIR OWN BARE HANDS ever do?
