^^ I struggle with this. Decades of conditioning seeking news aggregators and keeping a close eye on political developments it's hard to sort the policy (and the inertia that comes with it) and where it meets procedure and figuring out the difference between the two while everyone involved has their own motivations and want to project their own truth that reflects their motivations.

Staying informed is watching. Like seeing a car accident 2 vehicles ahead. You can't save the people in the crash but you have an obligation to yourself and those behind you to be safe.
