Long weekend idiocy...
They are all fucked!!!!
I was quietly observing our parking lot today when a
convoy of Honda civics and other little city cars invaded us at work today...
Little babettes in their little, less than nothing "sweaters"
, with the little shorts and the little teddy bears purses... all heading up north for the day.
As the BF's loaded up the cars with beer... I noticed.. some camping gear but nothing warm...
They have no idea what they are in for tonight...
Sure hope the cottages have heat cause there was more beer in the back of those cars than anything else.
I cannot wait to see them all coming back tomorrow... all hung over, cold, tired and black fly bitten...
Ahh to be young again....

It's nuts, all the city kid's and grads come down to camp here in the mountains and burn their parents couches, the population go's from zero to 10,000 overnight, they even put on a full fire ban to silence the hordes.

I remember my grad in 2000 or at least I think I do...pretty hazy. I remember some guy named Ziggy in the Crowsnest.
I think that's why the site is so...quiet.
I think everyone's out barbecuing.
Which reminds me,...
...I think there's some sausages with my name on them.
Gotta go.
Glad we stayed home this weekend. Weather is the shits and the wind just won't stop blowing. Cold too. To make it all just ducky I think I've picked up a bug! Damn.
I love camping.....when it's done right that is.........

I hate tuner cars. And imports.
They hate me too.
There's nothing more satisfying than taking the time to spend an afternoon with some people from the ministry of the environment to learn every pedantic thing in the book which allows you to torture those idiots with the big fuck off mufflers on their 1999 Honda Civics.
Then watching them hop up and down all pissed off on the side of the road, while you sit in your air conditioned cruiser, and write, and chuckle, and write, and chuckle some more, and screw up the ticket because you're laughing so fucking hard, then calling down your young cute, female, rookie zone partner to watch, so you can both hide behind mirrored sunglasses and laugh heartily.....
I'll tell you...
Priceless!

Was that at lynx creek and did it snow? or were you at knowles flats?
Man it's nuts here, they had to call in extra cops to deal with the mayhem and now with everyone trying to get back to Calgary my scanner is going non stop.Accident after accident in the big rush to get back home.I just did the 2 mile drive to town and saw a trailer lose a wheel and hit a ford head on and a biker vs car within 5 minutes. just nuts
