This is not me. I did not write this and I definately do not agree with it!
It pissed me off so much that I just had to share.
Parts are taken out of context in a most prejudicial fasion.

"Pro-war flower
Sadly, the poppy acts more as a rallying cry to support military solutions to the world's problems, instead of a heart-felt and genuine plea for an end to the suffering of war."
"Unarguably, WWI was "for king and country," not freedom and democracy; its causes were rooted in European imperialism and nationalism - schisms and divisions between people, rather than virtues like freedom and democracy."
Disgusting.
That is right down ignorant... They do say: "If your enjoying your freedom, thank a veterant.".
Boy what a crock of shit that is, the poppy is not a support of war. It's a sign of support for the men and women who when called to defend the free world did so, knowing full well they might not come home. Geez people can be stupid sometimes.
Its just some idiots blog really. He should be ashamed of himself.
If I was ever to meet this piece of scum, and he's under the age of 50 (my age) I'd punch that sack of sheet right is the face.....
Here’s a prime reason why this largely irrelevant halfwit needs be ignored,
This guy misses the point. Mahatma Gandhi could get away with what he did. Martin Luther King, Jr. a great admirer of Mahatma Gandhi sought to use the same tactic, IN A COUNTRY WITH THE RIGHT TO DO SO. The Nazis allowed no such protesting violant, non-violant or otherwise. We honor our troops who fought against such regimes.
Come to think of it, I wouldn't want that scum bag wearing a poppy, but a hood over his head might be a nice touch..... (just blowing of a little steam people, no need to get exited (not yet anyway))
Some idiot on W5 was wearing their poppy on the right lapel.
Anyone know why you should not.
England will fall
