AVFM : A Voice For Men published the names of the individuals who broke the law in this protest, based on the video evidence & self admissions.

A Toronto Star reporter recently called up to ask him why he was publishing the names of people who broke the law on his website. She was recording the interview over the phone. I don't think she knew so was he.

   

I read Warren Farrell's The Myth of Male Power in the '90s and it was eye-opening about how it discussed men's rights and feminism.

That these feminists would label him a rape apologist is simply stunning - Warren Farrell has sat on the Board of Directors for the National Organization for Women (NOW) three times.

I had no clue who he was going in, now I plan to read a lot more from him, nice to see a perspective that isn't stuck in the mindset that men are always evil.

   

Are you allowed to say stuff like that with an NDP logo beside your name ?

Seriously though, I agree. Just a quick scan of the wiki summaries of his books sure makes him seem like someone who ought to get more attention.

And the behaviour of the protesters at the UofT is disgusting. I wonder how many of those women have brothers/fathers/sons in their lives? Not many, I'm guessing.

   

Its what our democracy has become. I think I saw most of those people telling me what scum I was at the G20 too.

   

Why are we speaking of the Toronto Star like it is a real newspaper? Most of their articles are written with the insight and coherence of a heroin addict. Given how they employ mentally-ill hacks like Heather Mallick, I have to wonder if there is any veracity to my previous statement.

   

That comment is actually why I don't voice my views in person, people hear anything related to it and they instantly think I am an extremist instead of someone that simply recognizes that some jobs, while of equal value to a office one for a business, are significantly more dangerous and thus deserve a higher pay as they are risking their lives.

Protestors rarely protest smartly nowadays, they instantly turn to extremely personal insults and physical blocking of areas, most have no clue what they are talking about as they have the same amount of information as the facebook activist that reads a highly one sided one or two sentences on some picture and suddenly believes in the cause. It's the reason I don't take activism seriously anymore.

   

I checked out AVFM website, he sounds like a nut-job to me.

I'm not sure where "hack job" allegation against the Star comes in.
