11-year-old girl can't be 'willing' in sex

The nation gasped when police recently arrested 18 men and boys, ranging in age from 14 to 27, in the alleged gang rape of an unnamed 11-year old child last November. There was a second gasp when police revealed they only found out about it after graphic cell phone videos of the assaults were circulated.
The horrific event occurred in a small Texas town about 50 miles outside of Houston. Reports are that the town has become deeply divided with some blaming the girl and her parents. Some residents told reporters that the girl hung out with older boys at the playground, liked to dress older than her age and wore makeup. And the relevance of those claims to the crime of her being raped would be... what exactly? Perhaps she looked a little older? Say... 13?
Is someone actually suggesting there could be any justification for any human being getting gang raped, much less an underage girl? Sadly, pathetically, yes. That seems to be exactly what some people are suggesting.

Very sad shit like this can happen anywhere. It's beyond understanding how people can act this way. I suspect that this kind of stuff has always been around but at least today the criminal behaviour of these guys is reported and hopefully dealt with.

There is absolutely ZERO justification for this in any way. All those over the age of 16 have to start getting labelled as child rapists and removed from society as a whole. These people are demented and they are destroying young lives, for the rest of their lives. The younger boys once seeing that society as a whole will NOT justify an act like this, it may be possible to instill respect and empathy into them.
I went further in the article and read some of the contributors comments, they are sick as well, even though most thought it was a bad thing there was a sense of them seeing justification in it. Say WHAT!!
**Sorry! The point that I was trying to make is that this is part of a much larger societal issue. I removed the broader issue I included in my comment but it has to be considered in discussions like this one.

On a society level even preists guilty of such a hainous act also have to be removed from society. It involves more than those directly involved in this one case. Again how is that trolling.

I have found that we tend to by-pass or let pass related issues that are open for comment when we look at only isolated situations. The truth is these crimes are happening and they have the same root, warped and twisted adults forcing their degusting practises on children, because society as a whole won't include the entire picture. It doesn't matter if it is in this case 18 from age 14-27 or a preist or a stepfather, scout leader, what ever. It does become the much broader issue.
If I have to be considered a troll for bringing this up, so be it. In my second post to clearify my first I did specify it was a broader issue for society.

You were considered a troll because you deliberately brought up religious leaders, and implied they were all pedophiles. I dont know if that was your intention, but thats how it came across. If you want to post on a topic you should try and stay between your left and right of arc, if you dont then you could be considered a troll.
If you wanted to comment on something unrelated to the topic (ie pedophilic clergy) then you should have created a thread on it.

I know I'm late to the party, but I don't read any trolling in Pagan's posts, unless they've been edited or censored? What I read him to say is that even priests who abuse kids should be removed from society - ie people we hold in high regard should not get any special consideration. I didn't read him to say that all priest are abusers.
