Inevitable I guess. Anglicans decided to focus on social rather than religious issues with the inevitable result. If you want to avoid schisms you have to rule with an iron fist like they do in the Vatican.

Conservative Anglicans aim to avoid split

A new organisation for traditionalists wishing to remain within the Anglican Church is being developed at a breakaway summit, religious leaders have said.

The "church within a church" will become a movement linking conservatives across the world who oppose homosexuality within the clergy but avoid a complete split with the worldwide church.

Key figures at the Gafcon summit in Jerusalem had say the new movement will develop out of agreements which already exist such as bishops in America who have been taken under the wing of traditional churches in Africa.

Bishop Bill Atwood, who is based in Texas but last year was consecrated as a bishop within the Anglican Church of Kenya, said: "The purpose [of Gafcon] is to discern principles by which we navigate over the future.....

Brilliant :roll: . And how's that been workin' for them? Why not ask Cerularius or Luther how that works for the Latin Church?

The RCC is not falling apart like the Anglicans are over the issue of "gay blessings".
