Only I can judge God. I is you if you choose to be.

Weird or crazy you are... I can't decide which.

No it's more than that.
At least I hope so.
Gunnair Gunnair:
You might be embarrassing religious folk with this.
That would be nice as it would mean that their eyes have been opened to what religion should be all about.
Governments have used them for social manipulation and control without giving the final lesson that people are to eventually graduate from such poor schools and lead themselves instead of always being brain dead followers.

I like to think of myself as more of a savant with poor communication skills.
What do you think of this philosopher's delivery?
Weird, crazy or as bright as I am and you should be?

Most figure that jesus was an amalgam of several people from around that time, much the way that the mythical Arthur was the result of a merging of several real people.
That's a popular theory.

One would rightly question if Jesus was the Jewish Messiah or the Son of God or whatever, but I don't see any reason to think that the individual Jesus didn't exist.

Jesus said...
Jesus did not exist. Jesus is a mythical character. You don't get to trash Christianity and quote its mythical idol at the same time.

You don't get out much.
I will add these clips to the mix for your consideration. The first which is part of the second speaks to my Gnostic Christian label and the second shows my view of religions overall and the Noble Lie that I think we and our governments should rescind. The third clip speaks to the reason that religions were invented in the first place as it shows why social control was required for city states that had to deal with the reality of finite resources. I see these city states as led by a timocratic king who through the religion that he would have created, also realized that there had to be a tyrannical part to his benevolent duty and created a religion to be just that

http://blog.ted.com/2008/09/17/the_real_differ/He would have to create his religion as expressed through his high priest/tyrant who would live by the first commandment of God, place no one above me as the enforcer of his King/God's rules and laws while still obeying his King. The larger Roman system would later assume the same system through the Noble Lie. First through the Flavians and later through Constantine.

As you can see from the links above, I do not think he existed either but Rome made a few mistakes when they created him or the Jews who were paid to write him up were brighter than Rome.
That is what I think because I see Jews and Gnostics of that day as the thinkers and that is why they were hated by the authorities. They wanted sheep, not goats who would question them. The Noble Lie had to live.

I've met a lot of bright people in my day and not one of them ever referred to themselves as such. On the other hand, all the people I've met who've declared themselves "bright" turned out to be woefully dim.

Not surprising.
From what you have given to date, you are not fit to judge.
Alan Watts would agree with me.

Asparagus is a member of the Lily family.
Now we're gittin someplace. I knew Lily. She was quite nice even if she had somewhat "loose" morels. Always hanging around with Jack, of the Pine family. Always had a little treat squirrelled away for me! Ahh, those were the days!

I thought we were all god. That's what you said.
$1:
You are a God in your own rite as you are the only one who is capable of judging
So, according to you, you are not capable of judging whether I am fit to judge. But, since judging is what gods do, I am fit to judge you. Nya-nya-nya-nya-nya-nya.
Nutsy Nutsy:
Alan Watts would agree with me.
No, if he weren't busy being dead he'd call you Nutsy 'cause you are.
Okay, so you've referred to yourself as a gnostic Christian, a gnostic Christian naturalist, a god, a genius, a goat, a Watts prodigy and a savant. Anything else? Now that we've got you happily labelled, do you have a point?

Nothing new.
It always amazes me how atheists like yourself invest so much effort into fighting someone (God) whom you say doesn't even exist.
I just can't wait to see your tirades against the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus, Bigfoot, or the Great Pumpkin.
And by
I just can't wait I really mean that
I'd rather not.
