Your first failure was in assuming your religion is true. Its not.
Your second failure is the one that fits any prophecy, horoscope, fortune telling, and crossing over episode. Just because you shoe horn a few coincedences into everyday occurences doesn't mean you can spit out lottery numbers with uncanny accuracy let alone predict the so called end of days.
We have all heard this before with the various conspiracy theories surrounding European unions, Gorbachevs birthmark, or the so called spookiness surrounding various 9/11 coincedences.
Its all a load of bollocks.

Nope. A False Prophecy is rather easy to see, it does not come to pass. So if we all end up with the Mark of the Beast, pledge allegience to Mahmoud, and he is our sole supplier of Funds, then the OPs assertion is true. Of course this is all dependent on the West to continue supporting Mahmoud and supply him the funds.
Which brings up an interesting twist: If Mahmoud can only do this with support from the West, is he the Anti-Christ or is it actually "the West" and he is just an agent of the Anti-Christ?

I know they are not christian, but look at the Jehovahs Witness and armageddon. they have been spouting off about that for a hundred years. they have changed the date so many times they have a revolving date stamp to change it every so often.. I took a religions of the world course at university.. ever since then I gave it up..

Of course it's Interpretation, just as yours' is. Yours just plain sucks though, how freaky is an Anti-Christ with control over a smal territory and miniscule Population? Not quite freaky enough for the kinds of horrors written in Revelation and elsewhere in the Bible.
