If you go out of the house, you leave your DNA everywhere. Does it still belong to you? And when you die, does it belong to your kids now?
Canada's laws require a conviction for several specific offences, or that your family submits DNA in case you become a missing person. Samples can be deleted in that case, by request.

And the hi-res camera on your laptop looks up your nose and sends DNA samples to the FBI over wireless unless you have a VPN. Windows 11 ones are xray enabled to see through the tape you put over it.
