an 8 or an 8.2 according to reports. That's like a quake in Vancouver being felt in Halifax

I'm right on the edge, problem is, where I live was once the bottom of the Champlain sea. Sedimentary rocks all over the place and I have no problems finding fossilized sea shells on the bottom of a small river that flows near here. A short drive though and I'm on the shield.
USGS has downgraded this shaker to 6.8

If Detroit got hit by an EF-5 tornado, like what hit Oklahoma, then it's entirely possible that the tornado would not do any damage given that leftist policies have already wiped out thousands of homes all on their own.
