When I'd heard about them fighting but I thought it was a joke. Then I saw this article:

...and I still think it's a joke.

   

It was real; until Musk’s mommy said Elon can’t come out to fight.

   

It still is. And it's not. It's funny when you think of one asshole beating up another. But I doubt either has the gnads to show up.

   

   

Right wing media only exists because the mainstream media has been fully captured by the hardcore left and refuses to honestly report what happens when leftist policy & ideology triggers economic & social disasters.

Mastodon isn’t going to fill the gap left by the collapse of twitter and neither is threads but it will hasten the demise of twitter under Elons ‘leadership’.

   

Seems like Threads is going to come out on top. It still needs some work and improving but it’s the most accessible. I hate that is has to be Zuckerbot to make it happen.

   

I didn't find Ana as abrasive as Cenk but I did find her positions were not refined. She could be easily pushed if called on her conversational talking points because by design they were there to get clicks and stir up interest not be a hard and fast principled stand. Seems she got called and now has gone all in and thus TYT is done.

There is no such thing as a sustainable left media platform that is openly at war with their base of support. Even Prager U requires millions from their billionaire donors to keep afloat. TYT is ONLY supported by direct support and they have just blown their foot off here.

   

I stopped watching TYT years ago. I’m a card carrying lefty, but I couldn’t stand their ideological, puritanical progressivism.

That said, this whole episode is why the left will never get anywhere. Lefty’s are adept at tearing each other apart over minutiae and terms no one outside of academia uses while the right always sticks together no matter how much they may hate each other.

   

I watched TYT a couple times. I couldn't figure where their positions were. But I realized they had positions, which is not what I want in news.

So I didn't watch them any more.
