Many congratulations to Team Jennifer Jones and Team Brad Jacobs for outstanding performances at this year's Roar. Jen went through to the final with just one loss on her record and Brad's team never missed a step winning all their games including the final. Now it is off to Sochi for both Team Canada's and all my best wishes go with them. Great week of curling by all teams involved. Great coverage by TSN.

Big fan of Jennifer's here, so Rah, but wasn't the way Rachel's rink fell apart there a little shocking? I mean, we watched her win a world competition just a couple weeks ago.

Not a big fan of Jacobs yet. His cockiness seems, I don't know, Un-Canadian, or something. However, it's what wins, and he's going to Sochi now, so Go Jakes.

So do these 2 new Team Canadas go to that tune-up tournament in Vegas?

Was so happy for Jen and the ladies to win the Roar at home - first time for a Manitoba team - rock on ladies.

Rachel needs to grow up. I cheered for her team at last year's Scotties and was very impressed with the way they played but I don't like Rach's on-ice personality. Compared to the other ladies out there, she seems way too aloof but I am sure with time she will mature. They most certainly have the skills they need to win games - will be interesting to see how they do at the Scotties this year. Sure felt for Earl - Team Homan bites the dust and so does Team Morris - not a great tourney for Earl.

I love the Jacobs team, have since the first time I watched them. I know it hasn't been the way to celebrate a great shot or a great win by curlers in the past but times are changing and so are the celebrations. Besides, I can't think of a better way of settling down all those pent up emotions and Brad was very quick to get back on track and keep up his winning ways. I don't think it is cockiness at all - just pure passion and emotion. If that is what it takes to win - pump it up, Brad.

I believe the teams will now take some time for the holidays and then head off to Sochi - no other events scheduled for our Team Canada people as far as I know.

I hope the steroids left the Jacobs team when their 5th player was banned for 2 years because of them.
