I just finished Jose's book, now I don't know if anybody else has read it but basically I come away with the feeling he is nothing more than an arrogant washed up bitter hasbeen, he actually spends most of the book trying to convince the reader of how steroids are actually a wise thing to do, and taking credit for being "the guy" as far as introducing 'roids to baseball. I am still unsure as to why he felt he had to reveal the other stars who are on 'roids, given his arrogance it was probably so their records will be tainted, therefore their stars do not shine brighter than his. I am sorry I spent the money on it, he is obviously looking for one more big payday, and I guess this was his way to do it, he is nothing better than a backstabbing rat. I certainly do not recommend it to others.

I agree with you both. Seems like he basically sold out his former teammates for a quick buck. How lame . I know the whole expose thing in congress was supposedly out of a genuine concern for the game and it's young fans, but I haven't heard much about it lately. Whatever happened with that?
