Kimberly Kimberly:
Absolutely not!

Not NHL anyway. Just their "eliteserien" BOOOOOOOOOORING!!

I live in Jonas Höglund's home town. His house is two streets away from me.

Someone give me the sign, and I'll egg it!!!!

I used to listen to Leaf games on AM 640 online. MoJo radio.

Then I got a job, and I couldn't stay up late anymore.
I am 6 hours ahead of Ontario. Therefore Leaf games start at approx. 1 am my time.

Can't be doing that and losing sleep, besides...what a waste of sleep if they lose!

I have seen five Leaf games in the past 1.5 years. Cry for me.

Do you know what we really need? Digital recorders for internet broadcasts. You can get machines to hook up to your satelitte that will tape up to 20-30 hrs of TV shows. Why can't we have programs taht you can download that would tape internet broadcasts you could listen to later?

I need to search the net and see if there is such a thing, cuz then your problems would be over.

Johnny Canuck : How did you know I have attended Leaf games? I have seen 8 live in the past three years, one on Jonas Hoglunds tab too.

And NHL.com is THE WORST place to listen!!! WORST!!! ALways cutting out...buffering every yen seconds. And the announcers?? Pffft....less than desired.

MoJoradio.com the only way to go. I even got Joe Bowen, the Leafs OWN announcer to say hi to me on the radio broadcast!

I have the mp3 if ya wanna hear it!! I was so happy!! I stayed up all night to record it. Too bad the game was a loss. Fuckin' Calgary. :x

Oh Johnny Canuck, now I know what you mean!!

I should have told you, I meant I have only seen 5 games on TV. I don't live in Canada anymore, and the NHL is rarely shown at a reasonable time here.

They broadcast a total of 9 Leaf games a season, all at one am.

But when I said I saw 8 games in the last three years, I meant that. Before moving to Sweden, the company I worked for had seasons tix, and since no one liked hockey, I was usually the only one ever going! :)

Noone liked hockey? That is highly unsual. I work for a small company, predominantly me, and I think only one of the gusy doesn't wavh hockey. The girls I don't know about, except that they watched teh Olympic hockey with the rest of us, when a group of us went out.

Toronto beat Philly last night 6-0. What an awesome game, and this gives Balfour two straight shutouts, his 61st career shutout, which ties him with Patrick Roy for most shutouts for active players. My hope is that he is able to maintain what he has done over the last couple games, so that maybe the fans will show him the respect he deserves.

Nope, didn't show him my boobies...I sent a really nice email.

And he was touched. I think he is stalking me now. LOL

I still won't give Belfour two thumbs up, not until he can take us INTO the playoffs. He has one thumb up, one thumb down as of this moment.

Like my avatar?!?! I fucking LOVE Street Fighter!!!!!!!!

Anyone else?

HE was touching...I mean...umm...nevermind. :D

I sincerely feel bed for Balfour as he got a raw deal from the fans initially, and that certainly may ahve been the reason eh wasn't playing as well as he could initially. Too often fans and critics will say that as a professional athlete this should not faze him, but I think that is a load of crap. I don't care what career you have, the type of criticism that he had faced would make anyone less than game-ready.

In regards to your avatar, it looked cool when i saw it, but its not loading up now. What's up with that?

Toronto has some of the harshest fans and media in all of sports. We are indifferent when our stars play bad, but new people we put through the ringer. It is because of this that some big name athletes (well, hockey players) don't want to come to Toronto.

Eddy is doing well now, and hopefully people will get off his back.

True enough. Mind you, Toronto has some of the loyalest sports fans, as well. Back in the late 80s when the Leafs could only win 18 games in an 80-82 game season, Maple Leaf Garden was still packed. When Vince Carter had to sit the end of last season and the Raptors were on a losing skid, the ACC would still see sell-ou after sell-out wven without tehir marquee player.
Who would've thought when the Toronto Rock came to be, that you would see the antequated Maple Leaf Garden jam-packed full of fans for lacrosse?

Toronto has to be without a doubt the sports capital of Canada, and I think maybe the fans love their teams so much they evd up taking things too personally.
