After reading this article I am even more pissed off with the NHLPA and it's players. If the players do not fire that abnormally large forheaded jackass (Bob Goodenow) I will have lost all most all my respect for the NHLPA players.

They refuse to play in a league which is the pinacle of hockey because they are so damn greedy. And now, they are trying to stop the NHL from starting up again with out them. They are basically saying that if they don't play, there is no NHL.

Start the NHL over again, use AHL'ers, CHL'ers, whatever. In 2-3 years the NHL will have superstars again and the NHLPA will be crying to come back and play for the NHL. Those dinks need to realize they won't get even close too as much cash playing in Europe.

Hockey Lockout and Separatists, two things that piss me off the most.
Now if there is ever a Whiskey shortage, im gonna freak.

I wonder what happened to the new league the NHLPA was talking about? You know, the story a few months ago that had the players being the owners? I guess they did the math, calculating how much revenue they had to generate to pay themselves what they wanted...

It's the owner's money, but they need players... just get rid of the Union mentality of "let's take 'em for all we can", and everything would work out fine. Earning millions of $'s to play a game should be enough... owners have a right to profits too.

Getting rid of Bettman and Goodenow both would be a good idea if you ask me. Bettman has ruined the game (too much pandering to U.S. TV interests and small market U.S. teams) and Goodenow is too militant a Unionist to be welcome.

Im with ya on that. I think Bettman is definitely a problem dont get me wrong but Goodenow has REALLY advised the players poorly. It wouldnt surprise me to see them (players) lose alot more then they should lose because he decided to play hardball and the owners didnt blink. Gonna be a tough road back and alot of lingering animosity.
