I am wondering if anyone else noticed when they piped in the new Pepsi/Hockey Canada chant. I think it is Eh oh Canada Go and nobody chanted it. That was funny as shit for me......I don't know if I will ever say that. Pepsi had a contest to get a new chant? Why? Wasn't GO CANADA GO...Good enough?

You know what is really funny, I live just outside of Barrie. That team is awesome. I went to a game over Christmas and they are really really good.

   

I didn't see that Pepsi logo, but in the stands, I believe Pepsi was wandering around....The people are mouthing the chant in the add and the chant sucks..

If they're trying to get everyone geared up, why not just fire up the tried and true "Ole, Ole, Ole". That always gets the crowd going AND they don't look like a bunch of dorks.

   

If the fans really want to make a point to Pepsi about this lame-ass stunt, we should start chanting is "I'd like to teach the world to sing..." at the arena.

   

I'd never get behind a coporation to support Canada. Pepsi can fuck right off with that. Plastic bastards, as if I need them to encourage me to support Canada.

I do agree that a little more life and chants would be welcome as "Go Canada Go" gets old kind of quick.

There's plenty of chants that can be sung at games but the problem is the typical crowds at hockey games. For starters a whole bunch of people will get upset if your start singing during the game. Also there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of creativity when it comes to Canadian supporters. Your drinking before the game i'm sure you can come up with some chants. I already posted a few in another thread.
