Possibly all six canadian teams in playoffs!

This year is so awesome since all the Canadian teams might make it into the post season!! Hopefully the Oilers can get into 8th in the West, but if not at least 5 are probably going. Maybe an all Canadian final this year!!

If McTavish can keep his shizzle together his Oilers might make it. I'm just psyched that the Flames are going to playoffs this year... seeing as it's been seven motherF'ing years... Did any catch the end of last nights game in Calgary... who would have thought two goalies... two European goalies at that would be chucking the knuckles after the game?!

Yea I saw that fight between Vokoun and Kippersoff (mind the spelling error) that was pretty rare! I thought Oliwa was entertaining at the end he tried 2 go 4 anyone. the crowd chanting his name was kool. Not really a Flames fan, but too bad they lost. Hope Edmonton can make it!!!

The last time Canada had six playoff qualifiers was in 1993, when there were also franchises in Quebec and Winnipeg. Those teams moved to Colorado and Phoenix, respectively.
Of course, what fans north of the border would really love is an all-Canadian Stanley Cup Finals. That last happened in 1989, when Calgary beat Montreal in six games for its only Cup.

Hopefully there's a season next year!! I'll die without hockey!lol. wut i hear is that the players and the owners can't even come close to an agreement! Hopefully there'll be hockey next year!!

I hear you. Let's hope the NHLPA doesn't end up being a bunch of old misers... If salary caps happen though I don't know what the face of the NHL will look like 2 years from now... hell I'll have to go back to watching WHL games...

OMG Edmonton won against the Kings which means currently thay hold the eighth spot in the western conference playoff race!!!!!!!!!!! Keep it up Oilers...Make Canada proud.

I'm rooting for my Leafs, but I just hope for once that a Canadian team will bring home the cup...Still I want the Leafs (and to pick a team from the west I'd take Canucks) Stay in there Oil!!!

....and plus 2 canadian teams are gonna kicked in the first round.
