Where's the coverage of the Women's hockey, huh?
Seems a bit crap that what would normally be an incredible rah-rah-sis-boom-bah cheerleading session is incredibly silent.

But hell, it's across the whole media, not just Canadaka. And I say it's a bit sad. So what? The women lost. It's about time. It's all an exercise in helping other countries improve, then letting Canada and the U.S. play the final anyway. If you don't lose, you don't improve, and on top of this any arrogance that may have been sneaking in will now be properly deflated.

Props to Team USA's goalie and defence for the shut out and 26 shot game. Kudos to Team USA forwards for their 49 shot effort.
Question for Team Canada. Where were you? The final score does not reflect the game.

wether we suck ass or not is a moot point. How many times have we won the worlds. As compared to your team. It was a damned good game. only thing is I don't like the shootouts be it mens or women. I say let em play ot till they score.

Canada overall, played much better than the US team. That's why I don't agree with the shootout in a tournament.

I was a good game no matter what the outcome. That shootout crap is no good though. Thats no way to decide a final game. Let them play until someone scores and thats that. Stupid international hockey association.

   

Ok, not that im siding with the American team but how can you say the Canadian team did better? Did not the American team outshoot them? Did they both not play in equal terms? Shoot outs a shoot out, our goaltender didnt make ths saves whereas the Americans goaltender did, they won.

   

This guys nothing but a little insignificant American gremiln waiting to be squashed by my Canadian boot.

   

I said overall, meaning the whole tournament. But I give credit to the US team. They did deserve to win that last game, I just strongly disagree with a shoot-out in an international tournament.

   

As a Canadian, it almost bothers me to say it, but from the shots on goal alone, didn't Canada pretty much suck ass?49 to 26 or some such. In a drunken rant before the tourny I predicted this. They were just getting too arrogant.

   

I found it odd... Kim St-Pierre was litterally one of the best goalies i've ever seen: When I saw her i was like "Wow, that's the best goalie since Khabibulan" she was incredible! She kept us in the game, but, however, duyring the shootout she litterally looked like a block. The shooters didnt do to well either, three of them just ran right up to the goalie, didnt really shoot it... Bah, womens hockey...
