Support Todd Bertuzzi

While we can all agree the hit from Todd was a sucker punch, what happened when Moore hit the ice was not his fault. I think that the NHL is using Todd as a scapegoat, and I have started an online petition to support Todd. Please if you are a fan of hockey do not let them hang Todd out to dry.

I agree, even though Bertuzzi didn't intend to put him in the hospital, he did. And I think he should take his punishment. And no offense but, I don't think an online petition is going to help him out much.

When you ionyentionally go up to a player and "sucker punch" him I dont think you are complimenting him on his playing skills.. you are trying to hurt him.. and I have no sympathy for bootuzzi inb thisa case.. He didnt even let Moore the chance to drop his gloves and duke it out...challenging another player to a fight is one thing, but blind siding him is another...

Bertuzzi has been involved in similar incidents at every level he's played going back to bantam/midget hockey. His actions were not out of character at all.

I find it hypocritical that Bertuzzi is banned from the World Cup of Hockey due to an outstanding suspension from the NHL and a pending assault charge.
Dany Heatly is there playing after he wrapped his Ferrari around a wall at 130 km/h and killed his teamate.
Heatly faces vehicular homicide and 5 other charges.
If Todd's not there, Heatly shouldn't be either.

Bertuzzi tried to get Moore to fight him.
Moore refused.
Todd lost it and we know the rest.
Bertuzzi should be held accountable, but IMO he's being singled out for exceptionally harsh treatment.
And yes I'm a Canucks Fan.

There is a big difference and is not even comparible by my thoughts....
