Mowich Mowich:

The Jays fans that have traveled to Seattle for the series are amazing. It gives me shivers to hear them sing our national anthem.

One of my co-workers went down with friends for the game. I'm sure they had a blast!

From what I saw during the game, the fans were rockin' the stadium, Stutz.

The Jays shut-out the Mariners today to take the series 2 games to 1. JA gets the win - he was better than his last outing. The Jays only had 4 runs but that is all they needed. Osuna was brought to finish off what would be the last batter late in the 9th after Danny Barnes faltered a bit.

The Jays have two days off then will play the Tampa Bay Rays in a 4-game series at home.

The Jays have Monday off, then play 2 games vs Tampa Bay, then have Thursday off before hosting the White Sox for 3 games.

Thanks for the correction, Hyack. I should pay more attention when they flash the sched up on the screen during the game.

7 zip for White Sox in the 2nd inning after Joe completely fell apart at the mound. He's been replaced by Dominique Leone.

Kendrys gets the Jays on the board with a nice little homer but the Sox score another run in the 3rd and the Jays are behind 8 - 1

Mowich @ Fri Jun 16, 2017 5:21 pm

Steve Pierce hits a lead-off homer in the 3rd to put another one on the board for the Jays but they are still behind 8 - 2 going into the 4th

Mowich @ Fri Jun 16, 2017 5:26 pm

Leone retired the order - first time in the game.....definite win for us there

Mowich @ Fri Jun 16, 2017 5:34 pm

No joy for the Jays in the 4th and no further run support for Leone

Mowich @ Fri Jun 16, 2017 5:48 pm

So here in the 5th, the Jays have put Jeff Beliveau on the mound - puts 2 on base before giving up a 3-run homer to Cabrera

11 - 2 White Sox

Mowich @ Fri Jun 16, 2017 6:17 pm

Jays get 2 men on base in the 6th but a double-play and a fly-out to center end any hopes of a run or two.

Definitely got a shit kicking tonight, putting their record to 32-34, at least they have 2 more chances against the Sox before heading down to Texas for a 4 game series with the Rangers followed by 3 games in Kansas City against the Royals before returning home.

I switched to the Riders vs Lions games prior to the final inning but by then it was definitely over for the Jays. I felt so bad for Joe Biagini - what a horrendous outing for him - that missile over the head of Smokie for the missed out at first was brutal.

Hoping with Sto on the mound today, we can get a W in the books.

Mowich @ Sun Jun 18, 2017 8:25 am

Well........Stro had a good outing...........too bad the Jays didn't. Scratching my head over those errors by JD.

Here we are in the top of the 9th with the Jays actually ahead of the Sox 7 - 3. I think they may just have a chance of winning this one. 8)

And that's the winning score, splitting the series 2-1 Chicago. On their way now to Arlington, Texas to face the Rangers for a 4 game series starting Monday.
