Toronto Blue Jays: How will they do?

So how do you think the Toronto Blue Jays will do. I think they will get into the playoffs.
If they do, I would get a flight from Vancouver to Toronto just to see a playoff game.

3rd in the AL east last season you cannot really complain with that behind two of the biggest spenders in Baseball.
As for the playoff you would be lucky the red sox and yankees will be battling it out at the top again.
The Red Sox losing lead off man Jonny Damon will mean they shall get fewer RBI's through Manny and David Ortiz but it will not make them weak enough to finish below 2nd in the AL East.
I hope you do though as the Yankees and Red Sox are my two most disliked teams!

Hopefully we do. The Toronto Blue Jays picked up
Troy Glaus, Burnett, Ryan, and Overbay. Unlike the Yankees and Red Sox, who at the most exchanged Johnny Damon, they haven't improved to much and they are getting old.
Hopefully, they get in to the playoffs so I can watch them at the Skydome,
, wait the Rogers Center.

Its the dome....I will never call it the "rogers center" lol
Hmmmm Blue Jays....
There were less injuries when they played at "The Mistake By The Lake".
Seagulls excluded..
I completely lost interest after the strike.
How much money do these boys want to get paid for doing something they are good at and have FUN doing?

I would like to see the Blue Jays get into the playoofs this year. Their home turf in my books is still the Skydome!

Yeah, but we lost Tom Cheek, who in my mind, was more of a Jays fixture than SkyDome. :S
I gotta say, fifty odd thousand people at SkyDome was incredible (I got to see a '93 World Series playoff game), but it's really the only time the place was roaring and seemed more than a great waste of cash. I've since been to a number of events there, and every time there's under about 35,000 it's just dead.
It will be interesting to see how they do this season. Halliday didn't have a tremendous season last year, but if he breaks out, and the new pitching is as good or better than they've been made out to be by local media, it will be a great season for the Jays.
I think the Jays are actually going to post a hell of a contending team. They've basically restocked the team, almost from the ground up, ditched Batista and Bush (although they've still got that lead weight/albatross/strike out magnet Hinske) and tried to give themselves a good balance of pitchers at start, middle and closer.
Should be a good-ee.
