The Jays split the 4 game series against the NY Yankees 2-2 with a 7-4 win. In the bottom of the 8th with 2 out and a 3-2 count Justin Smoak smokes a Grand Slam HR, the 2nd of his career, to centre field to give the Jays the 7-4 win.

With tonight's 12-2 loss to the NY Mets the Blue Jays dropped back to a .500 record with 21 wins and 21 losses! The team's record for May so far shows them winning only 4 games while losing 8! Definitely not the way to go about winning the American League East pennant.......
