Why Is There Only One Canadian Basketball Team In The NBA???

It makes me mad to see a sport that was invented by a canadian and only having one canadian team i dont get what is the deal with that can someone explain that to me

because Canadians don't care for basketball, and it doesn't get the ratings.
Similar to hockey isn't that popular in the U.S. and doesn't get the ratings.

Well, lets face it...most people have played basketball in school either organized or not, but it just doesn't have the appeal that hockey does for us. I played right up to Senior high, but I wouldn't give you .49c to go watch an NBA game. Basketball was fun to play but not to watch.

i like to watch it and i like to play it like if you consider some of the amazing shots some people make and the blocks and the amazing dunks and plays its pretty fun to watch but i just wish there was more canadian teams even though i would still root for the raps but its a canadian sport nonetheless and lacrosse dont get watched as much as basketball

we used to play a variation in high school called yard ape. 10 to a team on a half court with full body contact. Taking someone out during a lay up almost made it as good a sport as football..........almost.

yeah but i know alot of people who like basketball i just dont see why people dont find interest in it

I used to go the Vancouver games but i found it boring...just not enough physical aspect...its Hockey and lacrosse for me
