Seriously, we have THE team ! the guys will win this cup, I am trustful ! the choice of Mario Lemieux is weird though. Why didn’t they choose Martin Gélinas to play with Iginla instead of Lemieux ?

Since I'm on the other side of the pond ... the only live games that I'll see will be Swedish team. Even thou I'm cheering for Canada ... I'm looking forward watching Zetterberg play.

Should be a great tournament. Although I will be cheering for Canada, loadly I might add, So many of my Vancouver Canucks are playing for other teams I will be cheering for them when not up against Canada. Natooke I believe five of the Canucks are playing for Sweden. I'm sure hoping for a Canada / Sweden final, with Canada winning 1-0 in overtime.......

   

You can imagine what a feeling it is to live in a country & Canada wins in hockey against Sweden.

I can't wait for the World Cup myself. I've been in withdrawal since the Cup finals finished.
And with the negotiations not going well, who knows if there will be an NHL season...

I love these types of hockey tournaments. Each time Canada takes to the ice I get a knot in my gut and it dousn't go away till the game is over. It's almost like "gimme the damn puck and I'll go score", "let me on the ice dammit".So I'm a little obsessed........
