How about flag day? It's already observed. Feb.15th, if i'm not mistaken. Just make it a holiday.

What about those who wanted a June holiday?

Flag Day doesn't address the assault on science being launched by the creationists, Arc. We also already have a national day for patriotism. We have no holidays celebrating science. Darwin's birthday happens to fall at the right time and he did change pretty much everything with his theory.

A June holiday is easy, Perturbed. National Aboriginal Day is on June 21. That should be a stat holiday as well.

I like the sound of Darwin Day as a holiday. The man who went to court in a case of science versus religion.
Let's stick to 1 to 2 hoildays a month. Too many holidays per month is not good either.
