I don't think they will delete it unless you have posted the idea elsewhere on the site.

look up the post I've placed then!
Dennis Baker

personaly I've come to the conclusion that this site is basicaly a placebo for the concept FreeSpeech.

Reiteration of main stream media, only a day late and a dollar short!

It's not my ability to comunicate Idea's, its the fear of the folks whom oppose my inventions and innovations, knowledge and experiances, that controls the conversation1

fear is the tool, since I do not fear, what you fear due to exposure to it early.

you Fear American Television Version of Jail.

Canadian jails are not like that and therefore I fear it not at all.

Dennis Baker
look up the post I've placed then!
Dennis Baker

personaly I've come to the conclusion that this site is basicaly a placebo for the concept FreeSpeech.
We do not want our forums filled with duplicate posts. You can quite easily post a link to an existing post. Re-posting the entire content is going to lead to a deletion of the duplicate.

We do not oppose free speech. We do not want to steal and/or supress your inventions, ideas, or opinions. You are free to post things ONCE. Again, if there is already a topic devoted to something, post on that topic or refer people to it using a link. And if there are no responses, that is because people are not interested in talking about it, probably because it is incredibly off-topic for a site about Canadian Sovereignty. Posting responses to yourself isn't going to change that.

If you were following these simple rules, then none of your posts would be being deleted as duplicates, and we would not have to keep reminding you of how to play nice in a public forum. It's really not asking that much, and everyone else seems to be able to handle it.

As founder of Vive, I can tell you the policies on this site (see FAQ about acceptable behaviour and postings) are there to ensure that everyone who visits gets a fair say in a safe environment, dealing with the topics that we deal with on this site (ie we try to keep things relevant to our particular mission). If postings aren't topical, are repeat postings as Jesse has explained, or are deemed offensive or hateful, we will warn people or delete them, and that's what our moderators are for.

There are other sites that DON'T do this and you may have seen how often these degenerate into sex talk, flame wars, racism, etc, which is not the kind of environment we provide here and I think most of us agree that's a positive thing. We are, however, working on a system of global moderation similar to what you find on Slashdot, whereby ALL users are able to vote on ALL posts, meaning that posts (and posters) deemed valuable will essentially rise to the top and those deemed to be trolls, offensive etc will sink to the bottom (using a system of "karma", which will also ensure that those who rate other people's posts have some consequence to their own "karma" to keep it fair and some other cool features). In that case these decisions will be made by the entire group rather than individuals, but for now this is the best system we have. Frankly I think it shows the open-minded and fair nature of the moderators, and the quality of the interactive and democratic policies we have on the site, to allow users to keep posting in a thread which is obviously insulting to the moderators (Ivan Jerk etc) when it could be easily and I think, fairly, deleted, esp since it repeats material posted here and elsewhere.

Ultimately, as Jesse and others have pointed out, there is nothing stopping anyone from starting their own sites to highlight the issues of importance to them, or from posting to sites that are willing to allow posts of any nature. It's just that here myself and the volunteer moderators have invested a lot of our own time and effort (and money) into creating something that has certain rules and guidelines which we are always upfront about (see FAQ), where we even allow open discussion about them--and that's OUR right. If you insist on posting even more threads on this topic, since they are insulting and all on the same topic, I will feel no compunctions about deleting them myself.

Your claims to the values you acertain on this site do not stand up to the light of day!

your just as willing to participate in suppression as can west global and the CBC and CTV.

the RCMP told me to leave the country years ago , but I had faith in the citizens of the country.

was I ignorant of the lenghts you people are willing go to keep the citizens in the dark!

You obviously fully support the arbitrary imprisonment assault, torture, of inventors and innovators!

two reasons
1) fear of my oppressors
2)jealousy of my inventions

Dennis Baker

Dennis: you need some help. Go get some for your own good.

Perhaps there is a language gap or something here, Dennis. If you look below the names of "Sthompson" and "Jvanherk" you'll see the word "Site Admin". You see, they started ViveLeCanada with their own money. The bandwidth and server it's hosted on are paid for by them, out of their own pocket.

They've kindly given us a place to discuss 'Canadian Soverenty'. They've also kindly posted very clear rules on how they want us to spend their money. We all post here at their sufference. Now, if they ask you to remain on topic, kindly give them the courtesy they deserve. Don't walk into their home, and start ranting and raving, or they'll ask you to leave.

You have the right to speak as you want to Dennis, but you do not have the right to be heard. If you want to tell your story, I'd suggest a blog site, as Jesse has provided links for.
