Sweet! I got an 88! Here I come!

No problem. Scored a 72 and I put no working experience in Canada (for realism) and no job offer at the moment. Its a bit skewed because we will all put family in Canada and get full marks for language where a true immigrant might not.

All in all Canada isn't the easiest country in the world to immigrate too. Its far easier to immigrate to the UK by comparison. I'm sure Eyebrock can provide full details about immigrating here.

74 work experince helped me and the fact that my wife is a highly educated person.

I got an 87. I figured if I was immigrating, I would have arranged for employment prior to coming and I only put my work experience as what I did outside fo Canada (3 years).

Ouch...66...just one point shy. Damn work experience.

Zoraja @ Thu Apr 20, 2006 9:02 am

Ouch 52, good thing I am already a citizen :)

EyeBrock @ Thu Apr 20, 2006 9:19 am

Why bother?

Just fly over here from anywhere other than a western country, claim refugee status and jump the queue!
No costs involved there and its a succesful route for thousands a year!

If that fails just don't go to your deportation hearing and join the other 30,000 people ordered deported in Ontario!

Easy!

I'm right smack dab in the middle of this process... not under the skilled worker, but I am sponsoring my boyfriend (who is from Boston/Arizona) as a common-law couple. It's been almost a year now... still waiting.

I scored either 81 or 87, can't remember now...

Ack. Starting to scare me with the amount of time people are saying it takes. Im waiting for some tenure at my job so I can transfer to one up in canada. (figure id start the push around the end of the year).

And my score was a 69. Cutting it close but a win is a win. It looks like ill first need a workers permit then do this paperwork.
