A new party takes years to get off the ground. Thats why I vote NDP. They have pissed me off in the past, have no chance of forming government, but I want what they have to say on issues to be given a forum ,and present alternatives which should be thoroughly discussed in the house of commons and in any other political discussions.<br /> They didn't have to form the federal government to give us medicare, social security, pensions, etc etc. All they had to do was bring the issues up and create a political demand for them by the public .<br /> This will also be the case for any new party in the US or elsewhere.<br /> The longest journey startys with a single step.<br /> Brent
