No one does. There are so many so often, there has to be an especially horrifying body count or set of victims. That’s how inured we are to it.

We stopped caring about the low body count events.

   

It may sound callous, but if most Americans don't seem to care about mass shootings in their country, why should any of us care? Even when we do, if non-Americans dare to comment about it on social media, we get attacked as being Commies or living in dictatorships (only Americans are free dontcha know), or some other insane BS right wing talking point.

I wish it wasn't the case, but the crazy assholes south of the border have worn me down...

   

Yup. There has to be some point when we stop trying to help, because our help is not welcome. This is the way they want their society to be, so leave them be.

   

With so much else going on in the world these incidents have likely just become front-page news only in the city/state that they occur in and are less reported beyond that.
