File comment: Fonda

Fonda apologized and removed the Tweet ten hours after posting it. I guess he was only regretting the post after the shitstorm of negative attention he got and after he got the call from the Secret Service that he should retain a lawyer to accompany him to his Chapter 41 hearing.
See, this kind of thing isn't a joke and it's even less a joke if you make a threat like this and you have the means to carry it out or enable others to carry it out.
Fonda will likely get away with a year or two of probation but he can expect a lifetime of scrutiny after this.
Peter Fonda has a new movie coming out on Friday called "Boundaries".
I'd say he could use a few.
And another deranged Democrat loses his shit over the immigration issue and threatens the kids of a Congressman.

'I'm going to kill his kids': Man charged for allegedly threatening Rep. Mast's children
STUART, Fla. (CBS12) — A man is facing a serious charge after deputies say he threatened Congressman Brian Mast's children.
A federal document filed with the U.S. District Court states Laurence Wayne Key called Rep. Mast's office in Washington, D.C. on Monday morning. An intern told investigators when he answered the phone the caller said, "I'm going to find congressman's kids and kill them. If you're going to separate kids at the border, I'm going to kill his kids. Don't try to find me because you won't." Investigators found the phone number belonged to Key, who lives in Stuart.
Documents claim Key has called Mast's office 478 times and also contacted Senators Marco Rubio and Bill Nelson.
The Fonda’s are all batshit crazy.

Hands off on each other's kids. It was a wrong for Fonda to do as it was with the incessant hatred and harassment that right-wingers threw (and keep throwing) at Chelsea Clinton and the Obama daughters.

It's cool when the Left does it.

Said absolutely no one here.
I find it amusing that you take such offense to what's said and not what's actually being done to children in your country.
Your priorities are off. Way off.
Either way, feelings on the President aside, saying shit like that only further cause discord. You can voice your opinion and not threaten the President's child.
We also sometimes separate children from their parents in refugee claims here too. I don't like the practice, but that doesn't stop it from happening.
$1:
'I tweeted something highly inappropriate and vulgar about the president and his family in response to the devastating images I was seeing on television,' Fonda said.
'Like many Americans, I am very impassioned and distraught over the situation with children separated from their families at the border, but I went way too far. It was wrong and I should not have done it. I immediately regretted it and sincerely apologize to the family for what I said and any hurt my words have caused.'
Typical leftist scumbag, issue some holy shit, don't have the balls to stand behind it,
make completely fake apology,
cry some crocodile tears,
do it again 3 weeks later.
The entire goddamn family should be deported.

There’s no hearing. No call.
He’ll likely get away with it entirely. As he should.
You have to stand for freedom of speech, even when you don’t like it.

It wasn't even a threat anyway. It was just something stupid, inconsiderate, and disgusting. If he was on the other side of the spectrum with that kind of attitude then Fonda would have been a shoo-in for Omarosa Manigault's old job.
