Trump is dominating both of them. He’s steamrolling them until they stop talking not to make a point, but to make them stop. It’s a tactic.

   

Dominating but not in the way of his rhetoric being overpowering. He’s just making noise and rambling like a senile old man.

   

Which one? I am wondering if we can have the debate by mail.

   

Forget that. Cancel the other two debates. It’s a waste of time. If there’s any undecideds left out there, they can go to hell.

They need to mute the mics, and it would improve dramatically. Mute both when moderator talks, unmute for the 2 minutes they get, give them a 15 second warning with maybe 15 seconds of leeway, and then mute the mic.

If they're going to act like children, treat them like children.

   

You think either of them would submit to that? There is a reason why sock puppets are used as moderators.

   

No. Tonight’s tire fire aside, the debates are designed to be as anodyne and debate free as possible. Cutting a mic to actually allow for substantive policy ideas would be heretical for the media and their excruciating need to constantly make it a horse race and not treat Trump as an existential threat to the country.
