Anyone heard of the Yonaguni Pyramid?
I have a sinking feeling your going to tell us.
It is a controversial underwater structure off the coast of a western Japanese island. There is a dispute on whether or not it is man-made. If it is made by the hand of man, that would place its creation prior to the end of the ice age, and thus greatly alter history as we know it. It would mean that the creation of megalithic structures would pre-date the time in which many scholars believe humans to only be hunter-gatherers.
I was being sarcastic...read my post slower ok.
hardy har har - sinking feeling
This sounds interesting. See, I can handle this kinda stuff, politics are a different story.
Do you have a link we can check out?
At first I wondered why you would choose the word sinking in such a non-threatening context. Now I see you were being not sarcastic but rather witty and for that I am glad.
Not exactly, bossdog. I would google it for more info.
So that's where my ancestral home is. Sheesh.....First her, then Atlantis....What next? Ottawa?
That's wild. Have you ever done any research on Earthbase 1 in Equador or the Flower of Life?

There is a lot of stuff like this. I've studied a lot of different ancient texts and holy books and they all speak of prior civilizations existing.
Necroposter alert.....
But since it's up again, for more info on the Yonaguni Pyramid, google image search or wikipedia will shed some light on it...
History channel had it on one of their shows before. Lots of evidence for and aginst it being man made. Interesting stuff all said and done.
There's a lot of controversy around the age of the Sphinx as well. The erosion pattern on the base suggests that it is 12 000 - 15 000 years old, rather than 4 000 - 5 000. Who knows, maybe there were some false dawns of civilization. Humans tended to settle near the coast and when the last Ice Age ended it covered what was previously coastline with about 100 m of water. Glaciers advanced and retreated, reshaping the face and shapes of continents, imagine how they could wipe away the works of mere humans, The Piri Reis map still hasn't been explained.
