Two men charged with church arson in northern Alberta

Two men are facing charges after a church was set on fire in a northern Alberta hamlet.
On Monday, at 3:30 p.m. High Prairie RCMP along with the local fire department responded to a fire at a church in Grouard. No injuries were reported.
A preliminary investigation determined the fire was suspicious and, as a result, two men are facing charges.
On Tuesday, police charged 56-year-old Kenneth Ferguson and 50-year-old Gerald Capot, both of High Prairie, with break and enter to commit theft and arson.
Both men were remanded and are scheduled to appear in High Prairie court next Monday.
