Guess it's gonna be fun for the disposable and surplus portion of the population to find out that post-COVID economics are going to be about a thousand times more lethal to them than the virus ever could have been. Ain't capitalism grand? :|

By the end of the month, I'll be paycheque to paycheque. By the end of August, I'll have to apply to my bank for overdraft protection...

What're ya gonna do?
On the highway Saturday I saw a Hummer H1 towing a 24ft aluminum boat. Gunning it up the hill in the right lane at 130 kmh.
At $1.439 a litre.
Stopped and bought a Coke Zero. It was $3.37 for an ordinary bottle. Dad used to whine "A dime for a Coke? In my day they were a nickel!"
Peaches and nectarines at SaveOn are $4.99/lb. That's $11.00 a kilo in real math.
