No! No! It's the Carbon Tax.
They deserve 50c for collecting that extra 2c

But but… isn’t that price gouging and isn’t that illegal. Sorry couldn’t help myself

But. but it was back in the days of Mulroney-Thatcher-Reagan gutting consumer affairs departments was fashionable.
The three people still left after 40 years can't look after everything....

Saw the Gas Wizard on TV last night predicting (giving permission) that gas prices will go up multiple times by this weekend.
-the Ukraine war that no one told us is in Alberta
-the massive (less than 2c) Carbon Tax hike kicking in
-the switch to summer blend (someone has to click SUMMER on control screen at the refinery)
-the massive transit tax (18.5 cents which explains the 30c+ difference)

Which explains the reasoning behind why when the Chinese blue jean factory runs out of size 38s they just stick Size 38 labels on the 32a coming down the line and ship them to Canada. "They'll just whine louder, they won't DO anything"

The "summer blend" where they don't add the more expensive ethanol antifreeze, made from corn, to the mix.

It’s a total scam and the political world pretends it isn’t. I saw 194.9 today
