Hi Gang! I have been very busy this festival season and I know have not been around lately but I have been looking in from time to time.

Here is some of the pics from a few of the shows I took in at The Cisco Ottawa Bluesfest this year. It was a fantastic event with a truly unbelievable lineup. If you missed out, you really must fine your way here next year.

That was Mark "Kaz" Kazanoff the leader of the Texas Horns. http://www.markkazanoff.com/

They act as the official horn section of the event and will pop up on stage with any act that makes a request for 'em. This is more of the magic that is Bluesfest. A show that is worth seeing is suddenly an event with the addition of three (or more if the band already has one or two) horns.

   

A performance by Lurrie Bell from the same stage. He is the son of harmonica legend Carrie Bell.

   

A fantastic night performance of Jazz\Funk\Blues fusion from Bernard Allison off of "The River Stage"

   

A blistering hot set on the main stage (The Bank of America Stage) from the charismatic & expressive Michael Burks
