Of course he didn't, guess he can crash at Rempel's place in Oklahoma now.

Makes sense. His only legacy will be from being the greatest king of "do as I say, not as I do" in Canadian political history. Bernier has his own issues, obviously, but he was sure correct about Scheer being the most empty-suit the Conservatives could have chosen to be leader four years ago.
Iggy! Iggy! Iggy!
A politician who makes empty promises.
Weird.
He’s not going to be PM now. Why should he have too?
Nobody at federal ministerial level in government or in any opposition party should hold foreign citizenship. The Australians have gone even farther on this. I don’t it should cover mere eligibility for foreign citizenship but if you’re filing taxes etc or have held a passport then you’ve got to give it up. Before appointment everyone should have to sign an affidavit attesting to this.
I remember when people were making hay about Stéphane Dion having dual citizenship with France.
I wonder how many of those same people are or would make hay about Scheer's dual citizenship, but then I remember the first rule of base politics:
"It's only bad when the other party does it!"
