Why are there plane loads of people flying out of Liberia? The WHO is over there crying for help to contain it yet they leave the barn door wide open. Makes no sense.

Because that would be racist.

The only way to keep Ebola out of Canada is to work on containing it in Africa. Flight bans and travel restrictions will do zero to stop it from coming here however supplying medical field hospitals, gloves + needles and personnel is the only way and we ignore this crisis at our peril.

Like a burning building, you keep watch for falling embers but focus your fire fighting attention on containing and extinguishing the source since no matter how vigilant you are over containing those falling embers they will eventually spread to the adjacent buildings.

It is too bad that the half-assed efforts to help with Ebola are more about keeping it from spreading out of impoverished Africa over saving lives for humanitarian reasons.

Preppers are probably losing their shit right now.

I doubt it. They're prepared, you see.

But I imagine if this becomes an epidemic in North America then a lot of people who have invested a considerable effort into mocking preppers will be reconsidering their taunts as they bleed out of their anuses.

The morning news down here on CNN reported that the ambulance crew and an unknown number of the emergency room and other hospital staff are under quarantine.

Can you enlighten me as to the steps taken to contain it, because I don't see any.

One would think a flying ban would be a no brainer, but...

1st visit to the hospital, he was sick and showing symptoms.

Then they sent him home.

2 days later, admitted and quarantined.

So it makes sense everyone he met the first trip need to be observed.

3 weeks quarantined, must be fun.

Considering that no one learned anything about not repeating the bullshit Iraq panic from 2003 all over again today I guess it's too much to ask anyone to not repeat the bullshit AIDS panic of the 1980's all over again today with ebola. Learn from past mistakes? What are you, a fucking communist or something?

Jesus fuckin' Christ I've had about enough with human stupidity. When the fuck are Skynet or the Cylons taking over so I don't have to put up with this shit anymore? We're awful. We're just all awful creatures.
