I'm ... well aware of how every single misfortune that the bulk of the human race, and the entire physical planet itself, goes through is entirely attributable to the greed, psychosis, and depthless malice of the wealthy. They have been, are, and always will be the worst curse that this ridiculous specie of ours has ever allowed to happen.

Ah, yes. The crimes of the wealthy...

What in the world for? I'm not even a communist but I'm still well aware of how every single misfortune that the bulk of the human race, and the entire physical planet itself, goes through is entirely attributable to the greed, psychosis, and depthless malice of the wealthy. They have been, are, and always will be the worst curse that this ridiculous specie of ours has ever allowed to happen. What's worse is that all the other alternatives, like that philosophy of yours, have been tried and turned out to be even more terrible.

There is nothing that can be done and nothing will ever change. This is the human condition. Always has been, always will be.
I don't need to speak it to believe it... A sad statement possibly, but a sign of the times.

Nothing changes until humans no longer exist, and probably at our own hands at that, and after the planet heals itself and generates the conditions for another specie to rise to the top. Maybe they'll be better, and at any rate they'd have to try very hard to be worse than humans have been. This is what happens with aberrations of nature, we oh-so-special bundles of frenetic electrical activity buzzing through our brains that give us consciousness, imagination, and the pretense that we all have a soul.

Now now, we all know that John Galt would have easily been able to enjoy his luxurious lifestyle tending to his potato fields and building his own yacht.

We're monkeys and we won't last.

What I do love about humanity is that we know we're doomed and we're just waiting.

You know I'm in a bad place mentally when compared to me Bill Hicks is actually an optimist. :|

I'll give you credit for one thing, kid. When you said 'the economic system isn't in crisis, the economic system IS the crisis', it was one of the most profound things I've ever heard in my entire life. Maybe I'm just projecting because I can't visualize a moment in my remaining time where I'm not going to be treading water at best, but if I'd understood that when I was much younger then things would have been vastly different and I wouldn't be on the crumbling edge of the chasm right now.

Fate? Or just a natural tendency that I can't control to put myself into the worst situation possible? Fuck me if I'll ever understand it. :?

Public_Domain @ Mon Mar 16, 2015 5:53 pm

I shamefully ripped that from some sign at a protest. Which protest? Who knows, it didn't matter.

Sadly, I have doubtful prospects for my future no matter what I think of the economy or its careless masters. I'm not sure how it would effect my decisions if I didn't believe as much: I still take pointless risks, I still lose, I still participate. I still have a hopefully long life to live with this crap.

I don't have a lot of hope in banks or "a good boss" or such anymore. And I'm probably a little more frugal than most. But I haven't and won't be able to change jackshit. My beliefs aren't saving me from anything.

I think the biggest mistake I ever made was getting into politics.

Thought I'd post this, not just for the message but to remind myself that some musicians were above having a slap-fight on Twitter over absolutely nothing important.

I'm not as positive as Merle was in the final lyric though. Got no fucking reasons remaining to be. :|

Shit, I missed this post entirely.

BartSimpson BartSimpson:
When the hell do I prattle on about the rich? You start each and every one of those topics or discussions. I personally don't care about these people and what they earn because it has precisely no impact whatsoever on my own income. You're the person who obsesses over the wealth of other people as if their capability to earn a significant income somehow excuses your inability or lack of motivation to do so.
That is obviously not what I meant but that is unfortunately how I worded my sentence, so, you win that one I guess, and proceeded with your tangent. I don't need to be more clear, it should be obvious what I mean when I'm describing hatred in your posts.

$1:
Your place in the world is not the responsibility of anyone else.

If you want to be wealthy, well-off, or just comfortable then that's up to you. You get out of life what you invest in it.
I'm pretty certain that is completely false for the vast majority of people. I mean it looks good on a poster with a picture of the ocean or whatever but mathematically poor people pay to be poor. Every corner is hedged against the lower class; fees, penalties, and emergencies, a vast swath of people I care far more about than your paltry few to be very honest.

$1:
You invest envy and jealousy into your life and you reap accordingly.

My advice? Stop worrying about what everyone else gets out of life and start focusing on what you want to get out of life. And then go earn it for yourself instead of plotting to steal it from someone else.
I should go into business, so I can steal it by the book.

Frankly I have a pretty biased view of the wealthy lifestyle and it's mostly stock reports and watching amateur porn because they love fucking poor people. I see nothing to envy. Your skyscrapers and your billions? No envy, no jealousy. No desire to be like you. You say I lack motivation to become rich and I absolutely agree. It's disgusting. I don't like what you've done for yourselves... I don't like the palaces. All we deserve is to scrub their floors. The rich are not inherently the most appropriate leaders. I don't believe corporations (and specifically the people running them) deserve the resources they claim merely because of some movement of numbers from one bank account to another. I think what I want most from the rich mainly is them leaving the god damn electoral system alone. Is that so hard? Like I can't stand your bullshit, but I'd probably be content if democracy was real.

(blatantly stole the palaces line from a propagandhi song)

And poor people don't get out of being poor by taking your "poor me" road.

And there's the problem with your worldview distilled into a single sentence.

For all your talk about celebrating the working class you hate them if they aspire to do something more than simply being a drone.

Are you happy with your life?

Yes then chill out and quit trying to make everyone like you.

No, then shut up and do something about it.

What is keeping you from being happy?

Not enough money then go get a better job. This might actually mean going and getting a better education and or actually working and not just looking for handouts.

No one in your life, well look at your situation, your attitude, your approach to life. Once again it is up to you to change so you will obtain your happiness no one is going to do it for you and if you think they should then you are the problem.

People making you unhappy? Quit being around those people find other who do not bring you down.

The one solution in all of this is YOU, not the Gov., not your parents, not those around you, you and only you can fix what needs fixing in your life.

People are their to help give you guidance but stop looking for them to do it for you.
