Why stop there Ruserious. If one has to actually "live through" something to properly understand it why should time be a limiting factor?
You haven't actually been to Iraq. So how can you claim to have an intelligent opinion on the war? After all, you only know about that due to other's interpretation of it.
Were you in Thailand during last year's Tsunami? If not, then how can you claim to know anything about that without having personally experienced it?
