Kind of funny that the woman in charge of Burma right now is the one-time darling of the left, Aung San Suu Kyi.

The left built her into an icon of resistance against military rule and now she's running the country and kicking the Muslims the fuck out of the country in order to protect everyone else.

Aung San Suu Kyi is a democratic socialist and she's also a recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize.

She's everything the left holds dear.

And she's protecting her country from going from a military dictatorship to an Islamic dictatorship.

I have not missed the irony. Delicious.

Your blind hatred of Muslims blinds you to any common sense or reason whatsoever. Even when you point out your own fallacies while you gloat.

There's no fucking chance whatsoever of "Islam taking over" when they were 1/50th of the population and more than half have left the country already.
Because the Army "let" them democratically elect her you seem to have this idea she can tell the Army what to do.
She's being criticized for not denouncing the policy when even that could risk what little 'democracy' they've got in Burma.

Delicious, eh? Hope it tastes like almonds...

There are many reports of the government slaughtering people, including children. And they're not allowing observers in to confirm/deny these allegations.

That's pretty shitty optics if you don't hate muslims for being muslim.

Actually it's ethnic cleansing.

This should be familiar to the Muslims since they've been doing it in Sudan, Nigeria, Ghana, Congo, Uganda, Syria, Iraq, Pakistan, Lebanon, Libya, Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia, Chechnya, Malmo, Marseilles, Paris, and etc.

Your blind hatred of Muslims...

Prior to October 23, 1983 I didn't give a shit about Muslims one way or the other.

On that day I lost seventeen of the best friends I ever had.

I've had lots of personal experiences since then that formed my opinions of Islam. Some Muslims, especially the ones who take the risks to get out of that fucked up religion, are actually decent people. So I do not hate all Muslims. The ones who leave the religion I'm just fine with. I'm also fond of Kurds who are hated by other Muslims probably for the exact reasons I like them.

What I have is an informed hatred of Islam.

You been watching the show on TV about Scientology? I don't hate Scientologists either but I have no patience or tolerance for their church. And if Scientologists were killing people like the Muslims are killing people then I'd be saying about the same things about the Scientologists who are mostly white people of European descent.

I may well have posted on here that I think the Russians and the Germans did the right thing by kicking the Scientologists out of their countries.

Not that I wish it on you but if/when the Muslims kill people who are dear to you because it serves their stupid fucking pig god you'll discover how I feel.

I at least try not to blame the individuals and I really do try to accept the ones who get away from that bullshit religion.

Hopefully writing all of this is not wasted on you.

Not aiming at you specifically, but you do often express support for policies that affect all Muslims instead of the ones deserving of being targeted.
And I agree 100% regarding "stoopid" religions made up by failed scifi writers and jailed perverts.
Muslims worship the same God as us, the Jews, the JoHos, so I think you mean to say their pig prophet...

Yup. They express support for policies that affect all non-Muslims so I guess there's plenty of love to go around.

The Muslims worship Allah while the Jewish and Christian God has the personal name of Yahweh. This difference becomes more pronounced when the Jews say they believe that Yahweh will send a Messiah to the Jews while the Muslims vehemently assert that Mohammed was the last prophet and that a savior will not come to the earth but instead a destroyer (which some call The Mahdi).

The Christians believe that Jesus was the Son of God and that God is expressed as three separate beings...Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Muslims when pushed or provoked will call this shirk and will tell you that this triune god is not Allah.

Feel free to test this assertion on your own but be careful you don't have any sharp objects sitting around when you do this.

She was admired across the political spectrum actually.

An Islamic dictatorship in Myanmar - that just says it all.

Why?

Are you skeptical?

You sound skeptical?

You need to understand we are not speaking of all Myanmar in the context of this conflict. The Myanmar Muslims are more or less localised in a small state called Rakhine bordering Bangladesh to the North and the Bay of Bengal to the West.

Image

They are only about 4% Muslim in Myanmar, but Rakhine state contains about 50%. Most Muslims are huddled in the North or the NRS (norther Rakhine states). NRS is between 80 and 90% percent Muslim.

Historically the push both militarily and politically is for a Muslim state in Rakhine, separate from Myanmar proper.

The present insurrection is being managed by groups of Muslim Rohingya in Saudi Arabia and to a lesser extent Pakistan. Training camps are alleged in Pakistan and Afghanistan. There has been a Rohingya presence in other international Jihads.

Fatwas are being issued authorizing armed conflict in Rakhine. At present the weaponry is crude. The Rohingya groups behind the insurrection are currently avoiding speaking of it as Jihad or calling for Mujahadeen support, but the connections are there and money is coming in from somewhere.

So could this develop into a conflict concluding in at least the NRS possibly more of Rakhine separating into an Islamic theocracy? Sure it could.

I guess we should have ethnically cleansed germans. Turnabout is fair play in your eyes now? Cmon man.

I guess all the people that the Christians/Catholics tried to cleanse should now turn around and start killing babies being baptized. I'll send out the memo.

Lots of areas of Europe did get 'ethnically cleansed' of Germans after WW2.
