Canadaka Canadaka:
- The US interstate freeways definatly own any roads we have here, in BC anyway. Often 4-6 lanes and can go 140km/hr in some places.
Ya I found that too on a recent trip to Michigan. Seemed kinda weird to be driving so fast. And I liked the idea that the big rigs have there own "slower" speed limit. Although they seemed to be driving as fast as everyone else. But the roads were definitely in better shape than
most of ours. Didn't notice fat people where I was. All in all it was a great trip & the people were very friendly. And, like everywhere else I've been in the states, they are intrigued by my use of "eh". And they always notice we are very polite. Although the people I spent time with could have been Canadians themselves.
Sounds like alot of hard core driving to do all that in 5 days!! Glad you're back!!
Road trips are a load of fun, man! A few weeks ago I did Montreal-Vancouver (but not in 40 hours! Took me about eight days), the weather sucked, but it was a great trip.

The one thing I notice when I'm in the States is not so much the higher incidence of obesity but the seemingly higher percentage of poodle-haired women...
I have to agree with Robair about the trips to Walmart. I am in Southwest Virginia and every grocery trip to Walmart you see several "hovering people"
We also see a lot of people from Quebec down here, my brother in law runs a towing company and has met several. I love road tripping, but haven't yet got the courage to take my two kids on the trek all the way back to Saskatchewan, ugg 30 hours in the van with a 4yr old and a 2 yr old LOL
LMAO at the poodle haired women comment

we came across so many Canadians form Quebec
Really? Wow.
That's kinda weird because Quebecors are generally very local in their traveling, and hardly ever leave the Province.
I'm just curious, were they French or Anglo?
Were they living or just on vacation?
BULLSHIT BUDDY.. ever been to Florida?? There are areas where its ALL Quebecers there they even own the freaking motels wher all the quebec buddies stay... Quebecers DO get around.. maybe yoiu are the one that dont leave much LMAo
One thing I learned from my visits around the world is that the Japanese and the Germans are HUGE travellers. Now I learnt that the Quebecers are big on travel too! Even as a pothead, you still learn something every day!!!!!!!
