Well, this weekend I had pho for the first time at a Vietnamese restaurant, and I learned a thing or two... most significantly that "beef tendon" on the menu was not a typo for "beef tenderloin".
I thought it was really good, nevertheless.

Pineapple, mango, wax apple, melon(2 types), carrots, lychee(just coming into season), sliced sweet bell peppers, celery, cherry tomatoes and french bread with basalmic vinegar and olive oil as a dip. For a drink, we're having iced oolong tea.

Last night we sat around the patio table and ate lamb chops right off the grill. No plates, no forks and knives and no napkins.
It was very yummy and quite amusing too!

Yup,blood red steak that I just bought at the super A food store.
Throw some frozen taters in the pan with a half pound of butter and were good to go!
Some crusty buns to soak up the steak juice.

Village wide G Sale today so I wandered around, and everyone had 'eats' for lunch, then got invited to a Bar B Q - campfire for the evening
