I started Greg the Bear's Eon. Never tried him before and I hope I can figure out holy cow what is this place along with the new girl. He has a lot of books so it could be a real win for me.
TGIF!
Kim Stanley Robinson's Science in the Capitol series. It was redone last year into one book with some additions and revisions.
The Hobbit.
aka....a history of Wales.
I've been rereading stuff from my youth. I read back then all the James Bond (original Ian Fleming ones.) books. I am up to The Spy Who Loved Me. on the re-read. Good fun.
Recently, I've been reading The Thorn Birds which I haven't read for awhile. Kind of a depressing one to read actually. Almost done, then I have another haven't-read-for-a-long-time to launch into.
I remember seeing that on TV when I was a kid. It was a series with Richard Chamberlain and Rachel Ward.
Also re-reading books I haven't touched in ages. Just finished a book called Good to Go about a Navy seal in Vietnam Nam and just started The Terminal Man by Michael Chrichton.
Wife's 'To-Do' list, it's longer than War and Peace.
Ah... onward to lighter reading now.
It's been years since I last read it but have just launched into:
Douglas Adams
The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy
A Trilogy in Five Parts
776 pages. Whew... might take awhile but as I recall, I know I'll be laughing.
Technical Documentation.
Internet of Things course from MIT, CISSP v7, RHCE V7. Just part of the job.

I read Suicide Forest and then got to 80 percent of the last of three books by Carol Berg and then realized I didn't care how it ended. Now I am reading Twisted by Andrew E Kaufman, and I just got Part of the Pride by Kevin Richardson. He is the Lion Whisperer.
Calculated in Death by J.D. Robb.
Not something I would usually read but a friend lent it to me.
...next up, Too Far by Rich Shapero
