Facebook has gotten really ugly in the past two years and I had to drop off of it a month or two back.

Real life ain't much better. I've quietly ended a few relationships since Trump was elected simply because it became too much of a struggle to maintain personal decorum all while being told what a child-killing Nazi I am for supporting the man.

It seems that every topic has to result in a personal insult these days and it's become tiresome that the people who start a conversation by smearing you as a Nazi can't stand it when you throw something back at them that's just as insulting and degrading as what they dish out.

The hard part of it all (which I am failing at) is to not get sucked into it yourself.

It's a terrible era for all of us. That being said very few of us (yours truly included) are doing very much to reverse the negativity, at least online. This is what happens when the battlelines have been drawn and the troops in the trenches are staring at each other via their gunsights.

   

Ironically hypocritical of you to complain about a lack of decorum when you directly insult those who haven't said anything to you or about you personally. (i.e. the kids from the school shooting)

If true then still no worries for liberals...Liberals are more smart, I think, don't know why but I just think and feel that.
